Mango Ice Cream {no ice-cream maker needed!}

This mango ice cream is so simple to make. You can make it without an ice cream maker, all you need is a freezer and a food processor. Mango and banana are sliced into bite size pieces, frozen and processed with a bit of milk to make this delicious and simple mango ice cream recipe. If you’d like to make the recipe dairy free, coconut milk would be a great substitute for the cow’s milk. Speaking of cows milk…

We recently went with some friends and their kids to our local dairy farm for a tour to learn about cows, how they milk them and follow it up with some ice cream made on the farm. The farmer was explaining how they milk the cows and showed the kids the machine they use for milking. He had just a few simple questions for the kids to answer.

Where does milk come from? Cows! Everyone knows that! Where does chocolate milk come from? Brown cows. What about strawberry milk? Pink cows, of course. What a smart group of kiddos :) Anybody know where mango ice cream comes from?

What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
