These Chicks Cooked Weekly Recipe Collection #38 Featuring Your Best Recipes

Whew! It has been a whirlwind week this week! Can you believe that it is already February, 2012?! I had a great time going junk store shopping with some girlfriends and I’m feeling truly blessed and enjoying being able to share more real food recipes with you.
Here are the highlights from last week.
Ramblings of a Happy Homemaker shared a post on how to render tallow. She got half a side of grass-fed beef and kindly took pictures to show us how to render the tallow that is so healthy and good for cooking. I bet her house smelled a-mazing when it was cooking! I’m actually on a mission to find a cute container for rendered tallow/lard etc to keep on the counter for seasoning my cast iron skillets…
Ellen from A Season for All Things shared a breakfast casserole that reminds me a lot of a family favorite that mom always served when we were growing up. You could easily make it healthier by using a whole grain bread.
This Amazing Chocolate Cake from Alli n Sons looks like it would be a perfect, indulgent treat for that special someone on like Valentine’s day!
Feel free to link up as many recipes as you like that you haven’t shared here before and invite your friends to come and share their recipes or kitchen tips and tricks- especially recipes using real, whole foods!    This showcase is all about featuring you! Next week I will feature some of the highlights from this week’s recipes.  Please add a simple text link or one of the buttons below to your post to share the link up with others. One last thing. Please try to visit a few of the ladies who linked up and leave them a comment. I know we all love comments :) PS- If you’re viewing this post via email, click over to the website to see all the awesome recipes everyone shares.
