Last Hurrah for Summer Mango Banana Smoothie
This mango and banana smoothie is perfectly tasty without adding any sweeteners. It tastes like a dessert but has the nutrition of a health food- a good combo in my book. If you’ve never bought a mango, don’t be afraid to try it. It is so sweet and delicious. Look for a mango that is partially red.
You will know it is ready to eat when it has a fragrant smell and if you press your finger against the mango it leaves a little indentation. Mine sat on the counter for a week before it reached perfection. It was definitely worth the wait. Can you believe that we only have a few more days of Summer? I think this is one tasty way to enjoy those last tropical tastes of Summer.
A few more of the house favorite smoothies are pumpkin pie smoothie, peanut butter banana smoothie, mixed berry smoothie and last (but not least!) is berry banana oatmeal smoothie.
Mango and Banana Smoothie
makes one serving
1/2 cup diced mango
1 sliced banana (preferably frozen)
1/4 cup milk (preferablypasture raised milk)
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
